NBA star LeBron James becomes a free agent on July 1 and may well leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for a more lucrative opportunity. But Ohio isn’t willing to let him go without a fight. They’ve called in all their other celebrities—from some chick who once appeared on The Real World to Governor Ted Strickland—and formed “Clevelanders for LeBron.” To get the message out to their target audience of one, they made the video below, “We Are LeBron,” begging him to stay. It’s sung to the tune of, “We Are The World.” C’mon, LeBron, they’re willing to sing out of key and name a street after you. And what are they going to do with that enormous Nike sign if you leave?
